Having been a teacher for 8 years, I understood first hand the difficulties that teachers face. This is what lead me to create Mark Mate. Originally created in my classroom, I needed a tool to help me cut my workload.

After appearing on BBC Dragons’ Den in 2018, Mark Mate has evolved into a unique solution helping thousands of teachers each day. I’m proud to have started a company the helps keep teachers in their classroom.

We get asked this all the time, and our answer is always the same, yes! We offer the ability to try Mark Mate as an individual or as a group of teachers in your school. We know this is a different idea, so we want you to be sure it’s for you.

Can I type my feedback?

Of course! We give you the ability to dictate your feedback to help speed up the process of marking. If you’re in a noisy room or prefer to type, this is absolutely fine too!

Currently, Mark Mate only supports dictation in English. We are working on the ability to dictate in multiple languages in a future update.
