Absolutely! We have designed Mark Mate to be flexible, to fit in with any budget. You can setup a printer in a central location and print all of your labels in bulk before the next lesson.
Mark Mate has grown since it was created and now there are other ways to deliver your feedback. Printing labels is great for day to day work but you can also print using your existing school A4 printer. This is great for longer pieces of work or assessments.
We know that many people might already have a label printer or might just want to print A4 feedback. Because of this, we don’t include the printers in the subscription.
Our label printers can be purchased at any time for just £69.
We get asked this all the time, and our answer is always the same, yes! We offer the ability to try Mark Mate as an individual or as a group of teachers in your school. We know this is a different idea, so we want you to be sure it’s for you.
Of course! We give you the ability to dictate your feedback to help speed up the process of marking. If you’re in a noisy room or prefer to type, this is absolutely fine too!
Currently, Mark Mate only supports dictation in English. We are working on the ability to dictate in multiple languages in a future update.

Mobile devices are great for dictation, so it makes sense to use them. Simply tap a student’s name, turn on the microphone and start talking. Mark Mate turns your voice into written words, ready to print.
The most time consuming part of marking is handwriting your feedback. Mark Mate allows you to ‘speak’ your feedback as you read the student’s work and dictates everything you say, easy!
You can use Mark Mate with your own label printer, your school’s printer or you can purchase one when signing up. Print as you mark or save all of your feedback to be printed in bulk when you get to school.
Mark Mate allows you to assign a grade or score to every piece of work you mark. Your assessments are linked to your comments in a clear overview to give you instant access to your students’ data.
