We get asked this all the time, and our answer is always the same, yes! We offer the ability to try Mark Mate as an individual or as a group of teachers in your school. We know this is a different idea, so we want you to be sure it’s for you.
Of course! We give you the ability to dictate your feedback to help speed up the process of marking. If you’re in a noisy room or prefer to type, this is absolutely fine too!
Currently, Mark Mate only supports dictation in English. We are working on the ability to dictate in multiple languages in a future update.
Mark Mate uses the best online dictation software you can get. We recognise all accents and dialects and provide high quality, accurate feedback, as you talk.
How does it actually work?
Open Mark Mate on either your computer or mobile device and create today’s piece of work. Simply select a student from your class list and start talking. Everything is stored digitally and can be printed any time.
Mobile devices are great for dictation, so it makes sense to use them. Simply tap a student’s name, turn on the microphone and start talking. Mark Mate turns your voice into written words, ready to print.
You can use Mark Mate with your own label printer, your school’s printer or you can purchase one when signing up. Print as you mark or save all of your feedback to be printed in bulk when you get to school.
Mark Mate allows you to assign a grade or score to every piece of work you mark. Your assessments are linked to your comments in a clear overview to give you instant access to your students’ data.
